SB160: E-mails still needed to encourage favorable committee vote

Maryland’s Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee is deliberating SB160 – a compromise bill that would overturn the state’s April, 2012 Court of Appeals’ breed-specific ruling. SB160 contains the same language as its companion bill, HB78. HB78 has already been voted upon favorably by the House. With just a few more steps, we can stop the breed discriminatory eviction of dog owners!
We now need the senate committee to vote favorably on SB160. Your action is needed today!
Please contact the members of the Senate Judicial Proceedings Commitee and ask them to SUPPORT SB160!
Even if you have contacted the committees before, we ask that you do so again, today. The bills’ sponsors’ have stressed that our messages and emails and calls do make a difference.
